It's happy ever after

Blimey - time is racing past and as we type this on the 27th April, there are only 27 days until the first semi-final of Eurovision. This is slightly terrifying, purely as there’s barely been time to gather thoughts (our own) on which songs are half decent, how we’re going to manage Os-logistics and, of course, updating our fellow EUROfiascians on all of the above matters.

Another reason why it would be terrifying was the complete radio silence from the BBC and Josh about, well, what was actually happening about our song. We had heard there was going to be a new version. So there was an almighty rumpus on Twiddler, Facebook and Popjustice when Swedish radio played a “new” version that was actually not very new and was, in fact, the version from the ESC CD (that was hastily put together back in March just in time for submission)

Josh premiered the “new” version to the lucky Dutch last weekend, however - both at the big Amsterdam Europarty and then on Dutch TV. (Thank god the press tour has finally, if belatedly, arrived).

Ok - it isn’t radically transformed, but:

• a) A
• b) There’s a lot more oeumph behind it
• c) Josh has, as per our previous post, been styled and is actually looking Quite Fit.

While this hasn’t been enough to satisfy some of The Gays, we at EUROfiasco towers are humming it when we least expect it and that’s the most important thing. We are looking forward to wearing our Josh T-shirts with pride (although, note to selves, we actually need to make some).
