I just love this crazy feeling

7 days from now we’ll already know the results of the First Semi-Final. Already, with 4 days still to go to until the Eurovision Song Contest final itself, there will be performers and delegations packing up their bags and heading home, ready to watch the rest of the contest on telly.

So there’ll be a couple of entries we’ll already have been keeping our fingers crossed for as we sit in the Telenor Arena on Tuesday night. Admittedly it’s the weaker of the two semis - with more of our favourites in Thursday’s - but there are a few good ones there. As for exactly which ones... well, that would be telling. Here at Team EUROfiasco we have now selected our Top 10 ex-UK entries, and we’ll be running them down at the Flag Waving Preview Party on Saturday and revealing that list here on Sunday.

It’s reached the point now where there’s less that EUROfiasco can usefully add to the pre-Eurovision hubbub than point the interested viewer in the right place. There are numerous blogs covering the rehearsals already, which are already underway and various people are already being squeezed dry by the Norwegian Kroner with still 11 or 12 days to go.

Meanwhile, Google have unveiled their annual Eurovision Predictor again for 2010 [Edit: alas no longer functioning].

And Puma have, somewhat bizarrely but not unwelcomly, jumped on the bandwagon (unofficially) with their Hardchorus Song Contest... including a welcome take on the (still somewhat under-the-radar) UK entry:
