..is what is was very difficult to do after running the London Marathon the other Sunday - but stairs had to be navigated that evening, in order to get your EUROfiasco hosts over to the Shadow Lounge for the annual shindig that is the London Eurovision Preview Party. Hey, got to keep the limbs moving...
Rather than write lots about it, or indeed take much photo or video, we decided to let the various other correspondents who were on site to take up the reins (such as Time Out). What do you mean, lazy? Did you not read the bit about the marathon?
However, this being 2013, no post would be complete without a genuine EUROfiasco Vine (although, rather poorly, not actually taken with the official EF Vine account that we went to all that effort to get set up... we must get ourselves sorted on that score before Malmö!)

Yes, that was indeed Dame Nicki French, as ever, belting out Don't Play That Song Again as only she can, as the final number. It's one of the main reasons we're there of course. Alas nobody appears to have caught the chorus in full this year for YouTube purposes (indeed, as if to prove the point, here is a longer clip from us that still doesn't get to the chorus), so for the total rendition, we have to go back to 2011. Enough of the nostalgia, what of this year? Well, this YouTube user has a few videos from the night. Highlights? It was all good. Nikki from Running Upstairs, er, Running Scared fame, was there with some new material but mostly looked a little scarier than we recall. Valentina from San Marino was back, somewhat different to last year, but her song is definitely a crowd favourite. And she seems lovely.
Meanwhile, everyone says that Denmark is going to win. All the time. And the fan club voting appears to be going that way. Well we can confirm she can sing...
But you know of course that you'll have to wait for the Flag-Waving before you can find out what we think don't you...
Other acts from this year included Austria, Malta (who seems genuinely very sweet and his song is definitely catchy), Finland (mental, but in a good way), Greece, Latvia and Romania (which, thankfully, the crowd thought was more bizarre than endearing).
We lasted with the disco until about 12.30, at which point at least one of your correspondents' legs told them it was time to retire for the evening...
