The EUROfiasco Top 10

There's no time to beat around the bush - we're going to cut straight to the chase. Mainly as we're posting this a bit later than we'd hoped (blame the Brewers. We do). We had another fabulous Flag-Waving yesterday afternoon and evening, where we unveiled our EUROfiasco Top 10. And here it is...

(Before we get there - the brief backstory. The judging took place on the night of Saturday 30 March chez nous. We both sat and watched the semi-finals, in order, using the official Eurovision videos. After voting in each semi, we combined our scores to identify the qualifiers in each, which were put through to the final. We then voted for our favourites across the qualifiers, the big 5 and Sweden, and once again combined scores in order to get to our top 10. Obviously we couldn't vote for the UK. No conferring was permitted, and in the event of a tie the highest individual score determined rank. You can see the full voting tallies and results here)

We have our Top 10 in a handy ascending-order YouTube playlist. And here they are for your easy consumption:

1 point - Switzerland

2 points - Ukraine

3 points - Serbia

4 points - Sweden

5 points - Denmark

6 points - Finland

7 points - Belgium

8 points - Ireland

10 points - Germany

12 points - Norway

A big thanks to everyone who came to the flag-waving and shared the unveiling. Meanwhile, we type this with just hours to go before we head off to Malmö, slightly surreally. 2 years since the last EUROfiascoLive, we're about to go again. Let's hope we remember what to do (clue: drink).

While we're away you can follow our progress via Twitter and Facebook and Instagram, if we remember to do any of those things.

In the meantime... Back Bonnie, Back Britain!
