So before 2013, our three EUROfiascoLive visits had not seen us attract much in the way of media attention. Well, actually that's not quite true. In 2010 we gave an extensive interview to ITV local news (right), which never showed up anywhere. We did get a picture and some expert analysis on the BBC News website, admittedly. But broadly speaking we've had a low profile (apart from having our pictures taken lots... and meeting Scooch, and Josh, of course). And that's fine.

This year was a bit different. We didn't court publicity (and we avoided things like the OGAE Daybreak get-together because.. well, it's not very EUROfiasco is it?). But with 24 of us roaming the streets of Malmö with inflatable hands and various other items - we were a bit hard to miss.

So as well as having our photos taken everywhere.. and lots of videos taken too (about which I really wonder where they end up!), we also had two starring roles on the BBC.

One was blink-and-you'll-miss-it but utterly iconic (and the subject of a future post once we've stuck our camera in front of the screen to capture it), and most of all was seen by 7m viewers on prime-time BBC One during the bit where the cut away from the SVT comedy sketch because it had a naughty word.

The other was, well, also prime-time - just a slightly restricted audience. BBC Wales Today were out there in force, looking for Bonnie Tyler fans wherever they could... and in the sunshine of the Saturday afternoon at Malmö Arena, what should they find...?



You'll notice that, just like in 2010, the expert analysis remains spot-on.
