Melodifestivalen is well under way and it's the usual mixed bag - great songs doing terribly, awful songs qualifying Direkt til Friends Arena, and largely feeling underwhelmed by much of what has been on display so far.
There are definitely two goodun's in the Final though - Sanna Neilsen has yet another ballad, but this time it's a power one, and it sounds breathtaking. Plus Oscar Zia pulled off a slice of Cherion-style pop with aplomb last night.
But in the "WTF" camp is the fact that, in their wisdom, the Swedes failed to vote for this epic song by Shirley Clamp. I mean, seriously. This is exactly what should be sent not just to Stockholm but to Copenhagen as well. As ever, it's inexplicable. Oh Sweden.
