EUROfiasco '10 in numbers

Mark’s numerical run-down of the week that was:

160 – Norwegian Krone for the top priced Final ticket (circa £150)
39 – Price in pounds paid for a bottle of the cheapest house white down in the harbour
25 – Position Josh came in the final – undeserved
19 – Postcards given to us of Josh by the nice lady from the BBC
18 – Union jack flags taken to Oslo – just two made it back
17 – Price in pounds paid for a chicken burger and chips on Tuesday – lovely though
16 – Hot dogs consumed on Thursday evening at our apartment whilst watching the semi final
15 – Number of us watching the semi final in our apartment on Thursday
14 – Price Lee paid for his McDonalds  - I’m sure it was worth every penny
13 – “Josh sounds good to us” T-shirts made for Eurovision – The first trial one was in black
12 – The tram taken between the Anker Hostel and our Apartment
11 – Bottles of Cava drunk in the Ballroom whilst watching the final by the EUROfiasco team
10 – Points given to Josh in the final – Malta where were you this time?
9 – Minutes lost of Eurovision forever as the screen went blank in the Ballroom
8 – Number of times Monica threatened to call the police on Friday night
7 – Pizzas ordered at Peppers Pizza – yum
6 – Number of media interviews carried out by Mark and Carl – 1 for the BBC website, 1 for Belgium TV and 4 for itv news – songs you can boogie to, what was I thinking?!
5 – Number of times Josh has been played on UK radio in the 30 days ☹ all on Radio2
4 – Pizzas kneaded and handmade by Monica – yum / AND it is the Number of countries who gave Josh points
3 – Free bottles of Cava received in the ballroom after the screen failed AND pictures taken of us by Mrs Dubovie
2 – Number of times we did the flashmob dance in the centre of Oslo
1 – Number of times Lee got the flashmob dance wrong, and of course the place Josh finished in our hearts!
0 – Number of outdoor screens in Oslo, amount of useful information given in the Eurovision Village, and the number of photographers waiting for Josh on arrival at Heathrow
