Well, long overdue, and not quite fully fledged, but there’ve been a few updates to EUROfiasco.com today - finally adding a selection of photos from 2010, in the main. It was, as those of you who were there will know, an amazing and busy few days in The World’s Most Expensive City. In a way that’s made it harder to put the page together as there were loads of photos to go through - but hopefully what’s there gives a good flavour of the week.
There are some videos in the EFArchive here in Putney too, but editing/making sense of those is a longer term project, ideally pending an EU grant of sorts. Maybe in time for 2011 we’ll put something together (in fact it’ll probably be done ready for the launch video)
Oh yes, 2011, did I mention that? Well, at the moment we still don’t know which German city will be hosting but, apparently, that announcement is days away and Dusseldorf is the current favourite. But we’ll see. What we do know is that the Melodifestivalen have received their highest ever number of entries already - clearly the failure of Anne Boringirl (sic) has inspired people, and hopefully done so in a Scandipop/Schlager styley.
What we also know is that EUROfiasco will, once again, be on the road - Germany’s just too close not to go, really. Bring it on!
