We also had a little bit of voting - of course - to determine what the assembled thought of this year's finalists (most had not heard any before the evening) and also the Melfest winners over the last decade.
Of this year's crop the group's top 3 were 1. Cazzi Opeia, 2. Liamoo and 3. Tone Sekelius. (We were also big fans of Cazzi, but Cornelia was our fave - thankfully shared by the international juries and much of Sweden, although it didn't seem to rock the world of the crowd in our front room - maybe it's a grower. We're properly excited about it going to Turin).
Of the last decade, the top five were (in ascending order this time) Popular (36 points), La Voix (56 points), Euphoria (70 points), Hero (76 points) and Heroes (90 points). I mean they are the five you'd pick, although no surprise that Eric would be much higher up the table for at least one of your Fiascohosts. Still - what a selection eh?
